Following the continued success of the Chesterfield Canal Walking Festival, the festival will be returning in September 2022 with walks from various points along the entire 46 miles from Chesterfield to West Stockwith.
There will be a great variety of lengths and different times of day from which to choose and lots of speciality walks including History, Wildlife, Engineering, Nature, Restoration and Family Friendly.
Full details will be published on the Chesterfield Canal Trust website and in a brochure.
Walks start at various locations in and around the Canal. Please see the individual walks for detailed directions. Each walk has a postcode for SatNav users and an Ordnance Survey grid reference for map users.
Many walks are accessible by public transport.
