The festival uniquely combines over 150 talks from some of the best known experts on a vast array of subjects from ancient to modern day history, alongside an interactive living history programme led by some of our most popular TV historians. Set within 70 acres of an area of outstanding natural beauty in Broad Chalke, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, the festival includes some truly revelatory and exciting demonstrations, from cookery and daily life, medicine and surgery, to evolving warfare, tactics and weaponry. With something for every member of the family, it is a celebration of history like no other!
