About

Bristol New Music proposes an adventurous exploration of the city through sound, with artists from across the radius of contemporary music gathering for four days of newly commissioned works, sonic responses to rarely used spaces, landmark concert hall programmes, club nights, gallery exhibitions and film programmes.

This year’s line-up features: Ryoji Ikeda, Jlin, [Ahmed], Apartment House, Elaine Mitchner, Josephine Foster, Jules Reidy, Lonnie Holley,

Sarahsson, Ruth Goller’s Skylla, The Bug (In Dub), Aho Ssan, Jlin, Keeley Forsyth, Matana Roberts, Quatuor Bozzini, Sebastian Gramss & much more. You can view the full programme here: https://bristolnewmusic.org/programme/

The festival is a collaboration between Bristol Beacon, Spike Island, St George’s Bristol and the University of Bristol, plus partner venues The Mount Without, Cube, Strange Brew and the Victoria Rooms.
