Beer x Food: Manchester's Scenes Unite

This will be your first chance to try eight one-off beers inspired by some of Manchester's most exciting independent restaurants.

Eight restaurants have teamed up with eight of the region's best brewers to create these new beers, which have either been inspired by the flavours used by each restaurant or designed to accompany their food. And all of them will be pouring together for the first time at Levenshulme's Station Hop.

Beers include one from highly-regarded Stockport restaurant Where the Light Gets In, which has teamed up with the brewery recently named as the second best in the world, Cloudwater. Another lauded Stockport eaterie, vegan specialist The Allotment, has joined forces with Thirst Class.

Much-loved sushi bar Umezushi have whipped up something Japan-inspired with Runaway, while Indian street food stars Bundobust have created something special with Squawk.

Rudy's Pizza, which recently celebrated the opening of its second city centre location, has brewed up something with Blackjack, and Caribbean restaurant The Drop is paired with Alphabet.

Two highly decorated chefs come to the fore in the final two collaborations. Mary-Ellen McTague's new Chorlton venture The Creameries teamed up with Rivington Brewing Co, and Marble Brewery joined with One88, the Whitefield restaurant owned by former Hilton head chef David Gale.
