To celebrate World Lion Day, on Saturday 4th August 2018, a pride of African dancers will be stalking their way through Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. The carnival will feature acrobats, african dancers, drummers and a range of giant African carnival animals. On the day everyone can get involved with drumming and dance demonstrations courtesy of Unika Dance Events. We’re excited to welcome back Unika Dance Events for a second year to the zoo.
Throughout the day we will be running ferocious fundraising activities at our Big Cat House. We will be fundraising for the Safina Lion Conservation Fund. Safina is the mother of our big, beautiful boy Masai, who was born at Linton Zoo (the founders of the project).
Our free Big Cat keeper talk will be taking place at 1.30pm on the day. Come and watch our cats and keepers show off their target training skills.
