Historian Catherine Lorigan will lead a history tour of Boconnoc House and grounds detailing the architecture, paintings, and people to tell the story of its past.
Guests will also visit the 800-year-old church and Georgian Bath House.
Following the history tour of Boconnoc House guests will be treated to a delicious Cornish cream tea in the Smoking Room, with homemade scones lovingly baked by our Housekeeper Kay.
Boconnoc House won the HHA/Sotheby’s Award for Restoration in 2012, three prime ministers, a history of duels and the architect Sir John Soane play a part in the story of this unique estate.
Catherine is the author of the book Boconnoc – The History of a Cornish Estate.
