In Events

2020 is now in full swing and there are loads of great events coming up across the country this February for you to enjoy. Of course, the month kicks off with Chinese New Year, where you can join in a whole host of activities all over the UK and there is Valentine’s Day on the 14th and Pancake Day on the 25th where you’ll find a variety of themed events. February half term is also coming up, you can search for what is on during half term in your region by adding the dates into our search bar here.

For now though, here are a few highlights of what is coming up in February.

1st February

Comedian Ed Byrne is on tour this month and he kicks off with a gig in Stoke on Trent. Find out more here.

Food fans won’t want to miss Darlington’s Festival of Food which is running until the 8th and Gamers will want to get Guildfest Games Fest in their diaries. The event runs across the 1st and 2nd in Portsmouth.

If you’re a fan of foreign films, Manchester is hosting a Japanese Film Weekend across 1st and 2nd and for those that like a good scare, the Manchester Folk Horror Fest is also happening on the 1st.

Don’t forget, Light Up Cheltenham events are happening all through the month, starting on the 1st.

2nd February

3rd February

Snooker fans might want to head to Leicester for An Interesting Evening with Steve Davis while theatre fans have The Woman in Black debuting in Portsmouth on the 3rd and running until 8th.

4th  February

There are a number of great live performances coming up on the 4th. Musicians Bombay Bicycle Club are playing in Sheffield, while the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour comes to Nottingham.

6th February

Live music your thing? Manchester are hosting the Jonas Brothers on the 6th of this month. Not so into live music, perhaps you’ll be interested in finding out more about the stars at Bristol’s We the Curious Planetarium Nights. These run weekly from the 6th and end on the 27th.

7th February

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain head to Leicester.

11th February

One for the kids, Peppa Pig comes to life as part of Peppa Pig’s Best Day Ever in Bournemouth over the 11th and 12th. You can find more fun family friendly events for half term here.

13th February

You’ve seen the film, now see them in action, the Fisherman’s Friends, the Cornish shanty choir are also on tour throughout February and are playing in Llandudno on the 13th.

16th February

The 1975 are one of the biggest bands in the world right now and they’re heading on tour this month. Catch them in Newcastle on 16th.

18th February

Find out more about Strictly winner, Stacey Dooley with her show: Conversations with Stacey Dooley which comes to Bristol on the 18th. Expect anecdotes of her time as a journalist and of course, talk of what it is like to be on Strictly!

20th February

The Back to the Future the musical is arriving in Manchester! Kicking off on the 20th Feb and running all the way through to May, you have plenty of time to get your flux capacitor fluxing and your Deloreans running to catch this new musical.

25th February

Carol King fans will want to book tickets for Beautiful: the Carol King Musical which lands in Bristol this month.

Whether or not you’re a fan of his films, you can’t miss the chance to see Kiefer Sutherland take to the stage under the guise of musician when he plays Sheffield on the 25th.

26th February

Musician Lana Del Rey is appearing in Manchester on the 26th.

28th February

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are joining forces for a tour of the UK they’re playing in Nottingham right at the end of the month.
