If you are a fellow millennial and spend your days snapping and scrolling on Instagram, this is the post for you. We know the endless pain of trying to find the perfect places to add to our Instagram grid, whether its to show off some interesting décor, some interesting uses of neon lighting or just a pretty sunset, we know it is important to get the right shot, which is why we’ve put together a list of some of the best places in the UK for you to Instagram.

Big Ben, London

The Palace of Westminster is a must visit if you’re heading to London, make sure to catch it at night when it is all lit up. At the moment there is a bit of building work going on, so you’ll have to make sure you get the right angle, but it makes a pretty fab ‘gram if we do say so ourselves.

Stonehenge, Wiltshire

Everyone knows what Stonehenge looks like, but visiting during the summer and at sunset and sunrise, you can get some amazing photos.

The New Forest, Hampshire

Visiting the New Forest is an experience not to be missed, aside from the fact that there are some beautiful beaches in the vicinity, there are amazing trees and you’ll get to spot the wild horses!

The Lake District

The whole of this area is pretty spectacular to be honest, but the most popular place to Instagram is Lake Windemere.

Edinburgh Castle, Scotland

The whole of Edinburgh deserves to be on your insta feed to be honest, but the castle is clearly a great place to snap, whatever angle you decide to go for, you’re guaranteed a great picture and there are so many wonderful views from the vantage point above the city.

Hove Beach Huts, Hove

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside, especially if there are pastel colours. Go to Hove beach and take a look at the amazing Beach Huts that are just calling out to be Instagrammed.

Portmeirion, Wales

This beautiful village is one of Wales’ most popular visitor attractions and sights to see, it has some amazing architecture and landscapes, making it a pretty perfect spot to jazz up your insta game.

Cleethorpes Beach, Lincolnshire

The promenade. That is all. It is the exact thing that pops up when you think of British sea side locations. It is a great place to photograph.

Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland

There is a reason this is one of the most famous landscapes in the world, it gives visitors a feel of the area’s history and is one of the most photographed sites on social media.

Durdle Door, Dorset

It might not be a well known name, but everyone recognises images of the stone arch just off the bay.

Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh

Sorry, Edinburgh is too pretty to only have one mention in this list. Arthur’s Seat is Holyrood Park’s highest point, it was a volcano once you know, if you've the stamina to climb to the top, you’ll get some amazing views across Edinbugh.

Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire

This is one of the most stunning buildings in the UK, especially during Christmas when all the lights are on, it is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and is a world heritage site. The outside is just as pretty as the inside and there are some spectacular gardens for you to snap too.

Bournemouth beach

Bournemouth Beach is one of the South West's nicest sandy beaches and with all the students around using their phones, it isn't much wonder that its one of the most instagrammed beaches in the UK. 

Dover Cliffs, Kent
It's one of the quintessentially British images isn't it? The White Cliffs of Dover are a great photo opporunity. 

Angel of the North, North England

One of the great wonders of the North of England is the Angel of the North, so you kind of have to take a picture of it if you're in the vicinity! 

The Millennium Centre, Cardiff
I mean when the building looks like that, how could you not take a picture of it? The whole of Cardiff is pretty special to be honest and full of great photo opps. Take a look at our dedicated Cardiff page to find out more about the city. 

Land’s End, Cornwall

Well, if you are going to travel all the way to the end of the mainland, you might as well take some pictures, plus the direction signs are always fascinating and if you're celebrating a special occassion you can even get your own message added for you to take a selfie with!
